For generations, the mantle of these super heroes has been passed to Barry Allen from Jay Garrick. Then after the death of Barry during Crisis on Infinite Earths, his nephew Wally West became the newest Flash.

In the afterwards of the "Flashpoint" crossover, the entire timeline of the DC Universe was changed by The New 52 wave and just like all other DC Comics characters, The Flash also received altered origin in the Prime Earth timeline.

The boy grew up to be the super-hero known as Aquaman. He clashed with the demon Nuliajuk and also saved Wonder Woman from the clutches of Triton. When the Appellaxians invaded Earth, Arthur along with Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Superman and Wonder Woman formed the Justice League.

Despite being a member of the Justice League of America, Aquaman chooses his kingdom and people as his top priority. Frequently dealing with his regular antagonists like Black Manta, Ocean Master, Hagen, Kordax and other villains Aquaman also deals with threats that need his attention.

Arthur is married to the Queen of Dimension Aqua, Mera and with her he has a son named Arthur Curry, Jr. During the “New World Order” of the alien Hyperclan, Aquaman and JLA managed to overthrow them. When Atlantis was pulled backwards in the Obsidian Age, he took a wraith-form and eventually reformed later. Orin perished during “Dweller in the Depths” storyline, then later resurrected in “Blackest Night” and revived at “Brightest Day”.

Year One – Batman/Scarecrow is a two part mini-series from DC Comics that depicts the origin story of the Batman’s villain Scarecrow, providing insight on how this rivalry begun at the first place and how Batman came to be as a mentor, whom The Boy Wonder was afraid of in a God-fearing way.

Released on 2005, this two part story features the script from writer Bruce Jones (Batman – Through the Looking GlassIncredible Hulk – Return of the Monster) and indi-fan favorite artist extraordinaire Sean Murphy (Punk Rock Jesus, The Wake), who did quite an excellent job on the book. This two-part limited series was classic re-invention of The Dark Knight facing the Master of Fear for the first time that will build their bond as vigilante/criminal in the oncoming years.
