X-Men are one of the most popular superhero bands in the reign of comic-dom and the mind 90's is considered as the time when too many X-Titles were available out there. During "
The Phalanx Covenant" crossover event, writer
Scott Lobdell (
The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix,
Alpha Flight) and artist superstar
Chris Bachalo (
Amazing Spider-Man,
Dark Reign – The Sinister Spider-Man) came up with the idea of a new spin-off series of the popular
Uncanny X-Men team, thus creating the new monthly comic series
Generation X.
The series started publication from
Marvel Comics in 1994 and then concluded its run with issue
#75 in 2001. It was one of the top order comic cool on that time.
Chris Bachalo did many of the issues from its start and it is always a delight to enjoy his artwork.
