Aquaman – New 52 | Comics

Arthur Curry is mostly known as Aquaman, who is the half-Human and half-Atlantean ruler of Atlantis. This royal adventurer serves the best interest of Atlantis along with his partner princess Mera of Xebel. He was banished by his own people after a certain time of him acting as their king. So, he and Mera moved to Boston, where they gained a much positive standing than they had in Atlantis.

They both also took a stand against The Trench; a carnivorous underwater species, who were constantly attacking the city. When Darkseid; the evil god of Apokolips reached earth with his army of Parademons, the heroes of earth were trying to protect it against the odds (Justice League – Origin).

Aquaman then showed up at the scene of conflict and turned the tides of the entire battle against the Apokoliptian invading force. He then joined Batman, Cyborg, The Flash, Green Lantern, Superman and Wonder Woman in help saving the day. Afterwards, they all band together to form the Justice League and fought the villainous David Graves (Justice League – The Villain's Journey).

Arthur and Mera give a chase to Black Manta following his stealing of an Artifacts of Atlantis. Then the team "The Others" was formed with six individuals each possessing an Atlantean relic. A conspiracy made Aquaman to declare war on the surface world which he and the Justice League then tackled together (Justice League – Throne of Atlantis). Arthur then faced the Dead King to rescue Mera from his clutches upon settling Atlantean civil war.

As the “Flashpoint” crossover erases and replaced the former New Earth continuity of reality, Aquaman also received a new and re-imagined origin of his own in the Prime Earth continuation of The New 52. The character that Mort Weisinger and Paul Norris have created starts his New 52 era of publishing in 2011 from DC Comics.

Megatron | Comics
Often depicted as a vile-minded, the tyrannical leader of The Decepticons, Megatron of Tarn is one of the most important characters in Cybertronian history. Many believe that he is the one responsible for The Great War and thus the destruction of Cybertron but in actual, their planet was destined to march towards its doom at the hands of Functionist Council. So, when a group of time-travelling Autobots came from future to destroy his Spark, Whirl opposed the idea and replaced the destroyed Spark. As he was built, Megatron wanted to serve as a medic but society determined his role as a miner. Always a rebel at his core, he protested and accidentally killed an Autobot, then ended up running with other rebel miners, eventually forming The Decepticon army.

The Senate assigned Optimus Prime to look into the matter and despite all his actions; Prime actually saw the fault in the system. However, when Optimus was offered to join his cause, the noble warrior refused. Still, Megatron kept an eye on Prime and Before the WarOptimus battled Zeta Prime alongside Megatron only to be deceived by him in the end. Upon killing Zeta, he became the ruler of Cybertron and took extreme measures at his opponents. His ruthless era ended when he faced Optimus again and forced to retreat. Also he faced betrayal from within his ranks by Scorponok and Starscream. He is exiled to the world of Junkion but he survived anyway. He returns to face the Monstrosity of Trypticon and defeats it alongside Grimlock, after Shockwave restores him.
