Following the Jedi Purge, librarian Jocasta Nu took it upon herself to save their legacy while fighting Darth Vader.
Betrayed, beaten, badly burden and completely heartbroken, Anakin Skywalker was left withered and dying on the fiery surface of planet Mustafar by his former master Obi-Wan Kenobi until he was rescued by his new master Darth Sidious.
After patching him up and giving him a new cybernetic suit to contain his body, his master informs him that his wife Padmé is no more and he must choose a path. So, he sent Darth Vader on a quest to retrieve a lightsaber from a Jedi to claim as his own and his apprentice got one by defeating Master Kirak Infil'a on the river moon of Al'doleem.
The Emperor then sent him to the Jedi Temple Archives to deal with an intruder and there he encounters a stranger with red lightsaber. When Vader was about to deliver a finishing blow to him after besting his opponent in combat, Palpatine intervenes.
He reveals to his scholar that the fighter he bested was The Grand Inquisitor and there are several others whom he assembled to hunt down Jedi members. All of them are then placed under Lord Vader's command and their leader informs him of a list of Jedi surviving Order 66.
The one who topped the list was the Jedi Temple librarian, Jocasta Nu and while The Grand Inquisitor still wonders how she can be a threat to Galactic Empire, Vader decides to pursue her. So, tasking him to fins a connection to her, the Dark Lord of Sith goes to see his master for answers regarding this Jedi librarian.
What he learns that she knows every details from the light side of the force to the dark side as well. Also, she was a guardian of something that can help shape the future of The Empire and so, she needs to be captured alive.
Though most of the Jedi perished during the execution of Order 66, Jocasta Nu somehow survived and now she is recording holocrons to preserve the Order. After summing up a whole collection, she leaves it behind to her assistant Gar for the next generation of Jedi.
However, she insists that there is still something back at Jedi Temple in Coruscant that she needs to get back. Being a Force-sensitive human, she managed her way into the temple by playing mind tricks on Clone troopers on guard to access the archives.
As she secretly enters her former workplace, she goes into a secret vault holding a database containing information on every Force-sensitive child in it. When returning, she engaged The Grand Inquisitor in a fight seeing him disrespecting sacred books of the library and just when he cornered her to finish her off; his lord arrives at the last moment to stop him from doing that.
Darth Vader asks Jocasta Nu to surrender and promises not to harm her but the self-righteous Jedi would rather die than getting caught.

Star Wars – Darth Vader – Legacy's End
Following the events of "Revenge of the Sith", viewers only see a completely reformed Anakin Skywalker next in "A New Hope". "Legacy's End" is collected in issues #7-12 of the second monthly ongoing volume of Star Wars spin-off series Darth Vader from Marvel Comics in 2017.
What happened in between was explored never before and so, comic-book writer Charles Soule (Death of Wolverine – The Logan Legacy, Death of Wolverine – The Weapon X Program) and artist Giuseppe Camuncoli (Amazing Spider-Man, Superior Spider-Man) were brought on board to dig out Vader's mysterious past.
The new creative-duo behind the story decides to shed some light on a character from Prequel Trilogy as well as The Clone Wars. The Jedi librarian of Jedi Archives, Jocasta Nu first appeared on "Attack of the Clones" and was portrayed by Alethea McGrath.
Though her role in her debut media was relatively short, this story does some justice to her lesser known character by revealing what greater task she was burdened with during the Jedi Purge. Much like previous storyline "Imperial Machine", this book also gives a slight glimpse of Vader's change of heart.
