Deadshot | Comics |
When Batman and Robin went on a vacation, he took the alias Deadshot and started operating in Gotham City as a vigilante wearing a domino mask and tuxedo. He and Batman have a confrontation that ends up Lawton in jail and changed him into a hardened person. After breaking out of prison years later with a red suit and wrist-mounted guns (during Strange Apparitions) Deadshot starts antagonizing Batman again.
He was later defeated by The Flash and eventually teams up with one of his villains; Captain Boomerang and became one of the forming members of Suicide Squad by Amanda Waller during “Legends”. He grew a death wish for himself but fought against the Jihad and ignored Darkseid's Female Furies invading Belle Reve. Deadshot and Captain Boomerang barely made it out alive from the Manhunters they were sent to kill during Millennium. He was quite instrumental through Nightshade Odyssey, took care of some vigilante business with Green Arrow as well as become a part of General Rock's Suicide Squad.

The Man Who Replaced Batman |
Just like many of the other characters of the DC Universe after “Flashpoint”, Deadshot received an altered setting for himself in The New 52 timeline and also became a part of the Suicide Squad of the Prime Earth. Deadshot is portrayed in the film by actor Will Smith in the 2016 movie Suicide Squad.
