While watching Kal-El's spaceship to pass shortly before the destruction of the planet, they wonders if their son is going to survive out there in a new alien world. Kal-El's rocket ship had landed on Earth, found by a generous Kansas couple Jonathan and Martha Kent, who raised the alien baby boy as their own in their farm with humbleness and moral code.
To the present day, Kal-El has taken the name of Clark Kent, established himself as a freelance reporter and became aware of the fact that the more nourishing alien atmosphere of Earth has given him incredible superhuman strengths and god-like abilities that are far beyond superior of normal humans, making him a superior being than the humans that inherit it.
As Clark Kent, he secretly uses his powers to save people from natural and other calamities whenever he can. Before he became the Man of Steel, he used to know Lex Luthor from his days at Kansas, who would become one of his greatest enemy for life. After finishing his tour around the world, Clark sets foot on Metropolis to join the Daily Planet as a reporter, then to meet Perry White, Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane eventually.
