Victor von Doom is an enigma to many as he is a King in Latveria, arch-nemesis of the Fantastic Four, a tyrant to The Avengers but he thinks of himself above all. Upon losing his mother to Mephisto, he dedicates himself in quest for knowledge of science and magic to free her. He then met Reed Richards at the State University of New York, who pointed out a flaw into Victor’s design of a devise for exploring other dimensions and blew on his face, scarring it.
Blaming Reed for this accident Doom swore vengeance on him and continued his attempt to destroy the latter and his friends as well as conquering the world after debuting as Doctor Doom. Following his many misadventures, he often collided with The Thing whenever he came against Reed and his family.
His list of evil doing includes stealing the power of Silver Surfer, leading the villains in Secret Wars, becoming Emperor Doom of planet Earth, doing the “Unthinkable” to Reed’s family that led him to Hell, started Doomwar for Vibranium, rendered Black Panther comatose and betrayed his allies countless times.
But he also haven’t forgot freeing his mother with help from Doctor Strange, took a stand against Onslaught, which are a very few of his good deeds. He joined Osborn's Cabal during Dark Reign alongside Emma Frost, The Hood, Loki and Namor. Doom was also behind Scarlet Witch’s madness that Disassembled The Avengers and created the House of M reality. Worst of them all; he took Beyonders’ power to re-shape reality as God Doom.
